Day 11 - Still Holding Forth! A Smile on my Face!

What a day this was! Rush! Rush! Rush!

The morning's fortification was one boiled egg and one packet (2 bars) Kelloggs Strawberry Pastry Crisps. They are only 100 calories in two bars, and they are quite good.

So the egg at 78 calories and the Kelloggs bars at 100 calories works out nicely!

Breakfast Total - 178 Calories

With all the running around I had to do today, a run through Farmer Boys was in order for their Chicken Cob Salad. Same as last week, 1/2 of the salad was enough for me, so I have 1/2 left for tomorrow. Once I got home and sat down for my lunch, it was closer to dinner time, so it served as both, lunch and dinner at 4:00 PM. The hunger had really set in then too, so I was really glad to enjoy the salad.

Lunch/Dinner Total - 537 Calories

Total Calories for the day - 715 Calories (before my glass of wine, of course!)

One thing to notice. When I'm working from home, I really get the munchies and have a pretty tough time resisting. It's not possible for me to be out in town every day seeing clients, but the more I go out the less tempted I am to add unnecessary food to my daily diet.

As you probably know by now, due to my new peacock dinner ware, this blog has been dubbed "The Peacock Program" And actually, having the brand new plates, bowls, etc is really helping me a lot. It's the association with my loosing weight and mentally it would be extremely difficult to put something on those plates that is not acceptable to my weight loss.

This beautiful peacock necklace caught my eye on Amazon and I couldn't resist. This is just another reminder to me when I wear it of my dedication to getting back to a healthy weight.

My lunch date for tomorrow rescheduled for next week. So it'll be a day at home. Another friend of mine is coming by the house, though for lunch. She's not bringing anything, but will have what I'm having for lunch, so staying true to my diet will be an absolute necessity!

Ah! The White Zinfandel is calling! See you all tomorrow!
