It helped, but gave me the guilt. As I am reviewing the stumble from last night, I realize that I could have had a banana or an apple instead! I'll do better tonight should the same thing transpire.
Another rushed morning - so had a quick bowl of cereal before rushing out to tend to work and other errands!
Breakfast Calories - 248
And my trip to town ended up taking several hours longer than anticipated and no time for a lunch break. I know that's a no-no. Regardless, some days are just like that. Farmer Boys was my choice to satisfy the dinner urge. The chicken cobb salad accompanied me home, but we left the bacon at the restaurant. It sounds like a good plan, but here's the YIKES - The salad (with the bacon) is 662 calories and the 3 ounces of the Honey Dijon Dressing is 412 calories. MY GOODNESS! It is a big salad, so I split it in half and will have the second half for lunch tomorrow. I used less than 1/2 of the dressing they provided, It IS a very good salad - evidenced by the calories. Oh, look! There's that peacock trying to get in on my dinner again!
Due to the 1/2 of the salad/dressing Dinner Calories today - 537
After dinner I still needed a little something, so polished it off with a KIND Healthy Grain Popped Salted Caramel bar. It was tasty and from what I read on the box is pretty healthy.
KIND Calories - 140
Tonight if I get a craving, I'll be opting for an apple or a banana - sliced thin to cure the munchies tonight. (banana would be 105 calories and an apple (fuji) 95 calories).
I'm wanting to step on the scale. That's not going to happen, though until Monday! Do you think that anticipation burns calories?
Total Calories Today = 925 This is good!
