Well, my job has kept me at home the past two days and Sunday was also a stay-at-home day, so the meals seem a bit routine. All the groceries need to be used before I go after new ones. Although the past three days have been a little less than exciting where it comes to the food, the next three days will be more creative. All three days will have me in town during the lunch hour.
Tomorrow's lunch is totally unplanned. With my different way of thinking, it'll be interesting to see which restaurant/fast food joint I choose. Obviously I'll be driving past a lot of places where I used to stop.
Thursday is lunch with a friend. Location yet to be determined.
And Friday is a birthday celebration lunch for my daughter! Teppan yaki is in order, so it's certain I'll have the filet mignon that comes with salad, soup, vegetables and fried rice. The trick here is definitely going to be moderation. A couple of bites of rice, then I'll order the balance boxed up to go home with daughter who absolutely loves their fried rice!

Breakfast is starting to sound like a broken record. I won't be having the same thing again tomorrow though, as I polished off the box of Raisin Bran Crunch this morning.

A repeat lunch from Day 3 was in order today - the chicken, zucchini and mushrooms.

And Dinner, of course, is the chicken cabbage soup. When I make soup here I end up always with a huge pot of it. Today a put a lot of it in the freezer so I can thaw a bit at a time. I'm afraid I'm going to need a bigger freezer!

I think I hear a glass of wine calling me.
